Dr. Lynda Alexi Torres
Dr. Lynda Alexi Torres was born in Takoma Park, Maryland. Dr. Torres’ passion for dentistry started at a young age and continued to be fostered as she worked and assisted at local dental offices and abroad with her church. After graduating from University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Dr. Torres moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. During her 10 years in Las Vegas, Dr. Torres practiced dentistry and owned her own dental practice. During her years of ownership, she garnered a strong reputation in her community, team, and colleagues of truly listening to patient’s needs. Due to her compassionate demeanor and willingness to serve, she also attracted associate dentists that wanted to be mentored by her. Dr. Torres' passion for mentorship as well as her focus on educating her patients on the best dental treatment options has led her to continue to attend educational conferences to stay ahead with the newest dental technology.
She moved back to Maryland to be closer to family and is looking forward to serving the Columbia community in what she has always considered to be home. Dr. Torres’ compassionate and caring character are driven by her enthusiasm, passion for dentistry, and focus on her patient’s individual dental health needs.
In her free time, you will find Dr. Torres cooking new recipes, traveling to try new restaurants here and abroad, spending time with her husband and fur babies. Though Dr. Torres is always ready for a good meal, she also loves fitness. If she’s not chasing a PR, you can find her enjoying the outdoors hiking. Her favorite places to relax are on the beaches of Puerto Rico.
