We accept all forms of credit and debit card payments, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
When can I start using my membership?
You can start using your Dental Wellness Plan benefits immediately after signing up and paying your first monthly fee. You can sign up in-office or use our online portal to activate your plan.
How do I schedule my preventive care?
You can schedule a preventive appointment for you or your family members by calling our office.
How can I use my member exclusive discount for treatment?
For dental treatments that aren’t completely covered by your Dental Wellness Plan benefits, simply let our office know that you’re a member whenever you schedule your procedure. We’ll make sure your plan is current, and your savings will instantly apply whenever we check you out.
How do I know if I need the Periodontal Plan?
Our team can help you confirm whether you require periodontal maintenance cleanings throughout the year after we’ve completed an initial examination of your mouth.
Can I add members to my account?
Yes! The entire family is eligible to be added onto your Dental Wellness Plan, just give our office a call so we can help everyone activate their accounts.
Can I transfer my membership to another dentist?
Our Dental Wellness Plan is an in-house alternative for dental insurance, which means that it’s non-transferrable and is only eligible to be used at any of our three Dental Designs of Maryland offices.
How do I cancel my membership?
Please contact our office to cancel your membership.
If I cancel, can I get a refund on my membership?
We do not issue refunds for dues paid for our Dental Wellness Plan under any circumstances, including failure to schedule appointments for covered services.
Are there any exclusions or limitations?
Yes. Our Dental Wellness Plan cannot be used:

In conjunction with dental insurance

For referrals to specialists

For hospitalization or hospital charges of any kind

For cost of dental care that would be covered under automobile medical claims

For services or injuries covered under worker’s compensation

For treatment which, in the sole opinion of the treating dentist, lies outside the realm of their capability

For treatment covered by any insurance plan: dental, medical, or worker’s compensation

For Invisalign treatment, in-office whitening, cosmetic treatment

For dental products such as toothbrushes
